We are currently offering our customers a special version of our USB-capable ARM device, the ARMStick, which, because it is a development device, allows users to program the device with their own custom firmware.
This device was especially designed to be a USB device, which means that users can practice embedded programming and make the device play the role of any USB device they can imagine. USB device samples are offered in binary for an immediate hands-on imersion and source format to allow customization.
The following are some of the features of this device:
- Atmel USB ARM processor AT91SAM7S256 16/32 bit ARM7TDMI with 256K of programmable Flash, 64K Bytes RAM, USB 2.0, RTT, 10 bit ADC 384 ksps, 2x UARTs, TWI (I2C), SPI, 3x 32bit TIMERS, 4x PWM, SSC, WDT, PDC (DMA) for all peripherals, up to 60MHz operation
- Perfect solution for building custom USB peripherals
- Regular size USB connector
- 2 LEDs (1 user-programmable, 1 to indicate power-on)
- 1 button (to put the board into firmware update mode)
- On-board voltage regulator that yields about 640ma at 3.3V; about 500ma at 5V current
