We are currently offering our customers a special version of our USB-capable ARM board, the ARMonic USBoard, which, because it is a development board, allows users to program the board with their own custom firmware.
This board was especially designed to be a USB device, which means that users can practice embedded programming and make the device play the role of any USB device they can imagine. USB device samples are offered in binary and source format for an immediate hands-on imersion and to allow customization.
The following are some of the features of this device board:
- Atmel USB ARM processor AT91SAM7S256 16/32 bit ARM7TDMI with 256K of programmable Flash, 64K Bytes RAM, USB 2.0, RTT, 10 bit ADC 384 ksps, 2x UARTs, TWI (I2C), SPI, 3x 32bit TIMERS, 4x PWM, SSC, WDT, PDC (DMA) for all peripherals, up to 60MHz operation
- Perfect solution for building custom USB peripherals
- Mini-B USB connector
- 5 LEDs (4 user-programmable, 1 to indicate power-on)
- 2 switches (1 for power; 1 to put the board into firmware update mode)
- On-board voltage regulator that yields about 640ma at 3.3V; about 500ma at 5V current
- USB powered (no additional cost with bulky power supply)
- Power supply filtering capacitor
- 18.432 Mhz crystal on socket
