Java V-Card
Java V-Card

The Java V-Card product is a Java-programmable, multi-application Smart Card. In fact, it is a combo of USB Reader + Smart Card in a single device.

This patent-pending combo device has several advantages over the conventional smart card reader + smart card setup common in the market, among them it makes it easier for developers to program it because it runs regular Java code downloaded into the card through an Eclipse plug-in.

For the end user, the main advantage is the convenience of carrying a single credit card size device that is recognized by Windows as being a regular smart card reader. Besides that, this special "virtual smart card" holds much more data than a regular smart card, and its ARM processor provides for lightening-fast response time.
